Core4ce in the Community: Making an Impact Beyond the Workplace in San Antonio

October 06 2025

Core4ce is committed to supporting local communities through meaningful, employee-driven initiatives. From year-round volunteer events across our office locations to our Donations for Doers corporate matching program, Core4ce aims to empower employees to make a lasting impact and build stronger communities.

This summer, Core4ce’s San Antonio, Texas (SATX) team exemplified that commitment by leading several volunteer projects in partnership with local organizations. These initiatives reflected the passion of our teams to create change in their own backyards. Together, these efforts directly benefited the SATX community and reinforced our corporate mission to giving back.

San Antonio Food Bank – June 14
On June 14, our SATX team partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank to help harvest fresh produce and fight hunger across Southwest Texas. The Food Bank serves more than 100,000 individuals each week in 29 counties, providing not only food, but also nutrition education and job assistance to families in need. Employees dedicated time working in the hot Texas sun harvesting fruit to help feed the community.

Supporting Teachers & Students at Brennan High School – August 4
The SATX team partnered with Brennan High School in Bexar County, Texas to ensure teachers and students had the supplies they needed for a successful start to the 2025 school year. Through a company-wide donation drive, employees contributed notebooks, pens, and other essentials to support classrooms across the school.

Core4ce Program Manager Doel Durieux helped lead the effort and identified additional opportunities to make an impact. “In addition to school supplies, we were proud to donate laptops to the school’s Cyber Program,” Doel shared. “Their outdated computers limited hands-on learning opportunities. With these updated laptops, students now have the tools to explore, learn, and grow in the exciting field of cybersecurity.” These laptops will directly support the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program at Brennan High School, helping prepare the next generation of leaders in technology and beyond.

Building Beds with Sleep in Heavenly Peace – August 23
Later in the summer, our SATX team volunteered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SIHP), a nonprofit dedicated to building and delivering beds to children in need. On August 23, employees worked side by side to assemble beds, ensuring that more children in the community have a safe and comfortable place to sleep. This marks the second year Core4ce has supported SIHP in San Antonio.

Core4ce Program Analyst Cameron Hui, who has helped organize many of the SATX volunteer events this year, reflected: “I was born and raised in San Antonio, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect my colleagues with these meaningful causes. Volunteering not only builds skills and strengthens bonds, but it also allows us to give back to the organizations that lift up our community. My hope is that Core4ce continues to be seen as a company that invests in San Antonio—not only through jobs, but also by giving back.”

Looking Ahead
The SATX team is already preparing for its next initiative with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night event, which brings hope and vital resources to those affected by blood cancers. Across other Core4ce office locations, employees have been making an impact through efforts such as the recent 9/11 Meal Pack Event in Washington, D.C., with preparations also underway for the annual Lowcountry Orphanage Stocking Drive in Charleston, SC.

Together, these initiatives demonstrate Core4ce’s commitment to service and community impact. By leading with purpose and investing time and resources where they are needed most, Core4ce continues to build stronger connections and drive meaningful change beyond the workplace.
