Mike has over 30 years of experience in the U.S. Defense, Federal and Intelligence markets. In 1987 Mike co-founded FGM, a software engineering firm that focused on delivering innovative software and IT solutions to the Federal, Defense and Intelligence communities. Mike held numerous leadership positions within FGM including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Business Officer and SVP of Corporate Development. Mike led FGM’s successful acquisition and integration of Edge Technologies’ Federal Services Division. In 2012 Mike and his partners sold FGM to Arlington Capital Partners. Mike played a key role in developing and delivering FGM’s sell strategy and, ultimately, achieving a premium valuation. Now FGM is an integral part of Novetta. After his career in Government contracting Mike spent several years advising National Capital Companies on M&A projects. As a senior advisor Mike supported several M&A transactions including leading the sale of KSH to ECS Federal in 2014 and the purchase of ACS Technologies by Optivor in 2017.
Shane Breland serves as the Chief Information Officer for Core4ce. He oversees strategic information technology initiatives and resources which align with the company’s core objectives and long-term goals. He has engineered and fostered critical innovations and marked improvements in the company’s approach to cybersecurity and digital transformation. Prior to joining Core4ce, he was the Director of Infrastructure and Operations for Spinvi managing multiple programs supporting the Defense Health Agency’s cybersecurity, infrastructure, deployment, and migration of information technology infrastructure for military treatment facilities around the globe. Spinvi was acquired by Core4ce in 2019. Shane also spent 10 years as the IT Director and GIS Director for local government in Ruston, Louisiana. He built the first multi-agency IT and GIS organization, spearheaded a statewide Geographic Information System, launched the first parish-wide building permits department, and initiated a multi-agency local law enforcement IT forensics team. Shane has built a solid reputation for leading information security programs and for designing tailor-made solutions to solve even the most difficult of global defense challenges. He is certified as a High Technology Crimes Investigator with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and carries a DoD 8570 baseline certification. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Louisiana Tech University.
Ms. McElhaney has more than 35 years experience in Human Resources and Business Leadership. She has extensive Human Resources experience with concentrations in team management, retirement plans, compensation, benefits, and broad M&A experience, both from the aspect of being acquired and integrating acquired companies. Over the past 10 years, Ms. McElhaney has participated in over nine acquisitions – ensuring due diligence reviews of Benefit plans and company culture are completed as well as managing the integration of acquired employees with a focus on retention. In addition to her HR roles, Ms. McElhaney spent eight years in the Accounting Department of a Government Contractor. This Accounting experience allows her to view HR and M&A diligence with a clear understanding of the financial impact. In her career she has also handled both Facilities management, including lease negotiation, and Contract Administration. She holds both the SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications, both of which are nationally recognized as HR knowledge benchmarks. She joined Core4ce in July 2020 after 27 years with Novetta and FGM.
Amie Milan is a results-driven strategist with more than 20 years of experience in corporate and strategic growth management, client and program management, and leadership. Amie leads Core4ce’s business pursuits and capture teams. She is responsible for developing and executing business and technical strategies and relationships to capture and deliver services and solutions to the Federal Government. She has been extremely successfully targeting and capturing white space, building and executing campaigns, building and managing billion-dollar pipelines, and establishing a strong presence with new customers.
Prior to joining Core4ce, Amie held consultant and executive level roles with Coalition Solutions Integrated, Inc. (CSI) as President/CEO, ECS Federal as Vice President of Navy/MC and ERP Accounts, and with Computer Aid as Director of Federal Programs.
She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a concentration in Decisions and Information Systems both from the University of Maryland.
Bryant has more than 20 years of Accounting and Finance experience with fifteen years focused on government contract accounting. Bryant currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer for Core4ce. Previously, he served as the VP of Finance with ECS Federal, where he also led the company’s Risk & Mitigation department. Bryant was involved in transitioning the company from a privately-held to a publicly-traded company, including federal compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404. Prior to that, Bryant served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for KSH, where he managed more than $365M in corporate revenues. Bryant is a graduate of the College of Charleston and holds baccalaureate degrees in Political Science, Accounting, and Business Administration with a concentrated minor in Economics. Bryant received his MBA and MS in Accounting from the University of Maryland. Bryant is also a member of the Charleston, SC CFO council and participated on Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) advisory council for small contractor outreach.
