Corporate Matching Program Raises More Than $10,000

June 28 2023

Core4ce launched Donations for Doers – a corporate matching program – in the spring of 2022 in response to employee interest in supporting the people of Ukraine. Recognizing an opportunity to help amplify the impact of employee giving, and in acknowledgement of the diverse range of causes that our team members are passionate about, our Human Resources team designed the program to match contributions to any nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 status.

Since the program’s launch, the Core4ce team has raised more than $10,000 for organizations dedicated to disaster relief, veterans, youth and community outreach, children’s health, and animal welfare. We’re proud to stand in solidarity with our colleagues in their support of organizations including America’s VetDogs, World Central Kitchen, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Camp Happy Days, and many more.

In the past year, members of our team have joined forces in support of two specific organizations: Sleep in Heavenly Peace and PGA HOPE. In September 2022, employees raised funds – matched through Donations for Doers – for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization dedicated to building, assembling, and delivering top-notch beds to children and families in need. Donations funded bed building events in Charleston and San Antonio, with employees teaming up to build a combined 51 beds for children in those communities. Earlier this month, Core4ce organized a raffle at our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament in support of PGA HOPE, a program that introduces golf to veterans and active-duty military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. Donations for Doers matched more than 30 employee contributions for a total amount raised of $1,350.

The Donations for Doers program remains an ongoing initiative open to all Core4ce employees. In addition to matching monetary contributions, employees may volunteer 10 hours of time to an organization and Core4ce will donate $100.
