Network Architecture and Engineering

At Core4ce, we design and deliver resilient, scalable network architectures that power today’s most demanding defense missions. From enterprise systems supporting hundreds of locations around the globe with hundreds of thousands of end users to tactical platforms, we engineer secure network infrastructures that seamlessly integrate physical and virtual environments, ensuring readiness across development, test, and operational domains. Our solutions enable mission-critical operations by unifying diverse technologies into cohesive, high-performing, and secure network ecosystems.

Our Approach

  • 01
    Unified Network Design and Integration

Core4ce specializes in designing network architectures that unify diverse technologies such as network protection infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs), cloud platforms, and on-premises datacenter infrastructure. These technologies ensure seamless integration of physical and virtual environments, creating mission-ready architectures that are both scalable and secure.

  • 02
    Resilient and Scalable Solutions

We deliver network infrastructures that are resilient to disruptions and scalable to meet evolving mission needs. By leveraging advanced performance testing tools and methodologies, we validate our solution’s capability to support the network capacity, latency, and scalability required by our customers to support optimal performance.

  • 03
    Comprehensive Configuration Management

Core4ce employs disciplined configuration management practices to keep network designs current, traceable, and fully aligned with mission requirements. This includes managing complex network baselines and ensuring every configuration change is controlled and documented.

  • 04
    Advanced Security Engineering

Our team integrates robust security measures into network designs, including the implementation of solutions for IT, OT and IoTWe have leveraged Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Armis Centrix, and VPN tunneling to support security of OT and IoT devices within higher-security-level enclaves. These solutions provide advanced threat detection and policy enforcement, ensuring compliance with DoD and federal cybersecurity standards.

  • 05
    Proven Expertise in Mission-Critical Projects

Core4ce has a proven track record of delivering mission-critical network solutions. For example, we supported NIWC Atlantic and PEO C4I by engineering and managing secure network infrastructures for the Virtual Hosting Environment (VHE), including the implementation of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Protection Systems (IPS), and advanced endpoint security solutions. This work enabled secure, uninterrupted mission execution for hosted systems.

THE
CORE4CE
DIFFERENCE

Core4ce’s network architecture and engineering capabilities have consistently delivered measurable impact for our customers. For NIWC Atlantic’s Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP), we designed, tested, and implemented a cloud security infrastructure featuring Transit Virtual Private Cloud (TVPC), Virtual Datacenter Security Stack (VDSS), and Virtual Datacenter Management Services (VDMS). These solutions, configured using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible and Terraform, enabled rapid, automated updates and ensured consistent security across unclassified and Secret cloud environments.

Core4ce also played a pivotal role in the success of the Virtual Hosting Environment (VHE) for PEO C4I at NIWC Atlantic. Our team provided end-to-end engineering and cybersecurity services, including the deployment of IDS, IPS, and firewalls. This effort supported over 300 servers and ensured compliance with DISA guidelines, enabling secure and uninterrupted mission execution for hosted systems.

Finally, our work has also extended to the Defense Health Agency (DHA), where we implemented a highly reliable enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This included a three-tier failover redundancy system for DoD hospitals, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and improved network performance for over 250,000 end users worldwide.

These successes underscore our ability to transform complex requirements into secure, scalable, and mission-ready solutions.
