Core4ce’s Board of Directors Appoints Dave Ross as Chief Strategy Officer

RESTON, VA — January 25, 2021 – Core4ce’s board of directors appointed Dave Ross as the Core4ce Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) effective January 25, 2021.

Dave joins Core4ce after leading the Analysis Support Office, a premier strategic planning and analysis organization supporting the senior leadership at the Department of Defense. “Dave has a proven record as a strategic thinker. Dave will lead the company’s strategic planning and forge new relationships with our industry partners and clients,” said Core4ce CEO Jack Wilmer.

Core4ce founder Mike Morehouse added, “Dave is a servant leader and proven performer. Dave’s personal and professional style aligns with our corporate values, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”

Before joining Core4ce, Dave served more than eight years as the Director, Analysis Support Office within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. In this role, Dave supplied pre-decisional operational analysis and helped develop department-level policies and strategies for senior-level Department of Defense officials. Before that, Dave served as Deputy Director and Chief Innovation Officer at the Analysis Support Office where he led organizational efforts to fully implement progressive corporate practices, linked to government and industry best practices, to ensure mission relevance and effectiveness.

Dave returned to government service in 2009 after serving as the Vice President for Integrated Intelligence Solutions at FGM, Incorporated, Reston, Virginia. Dave led work for the U.S. Intelligence Community, Department of Defense information operations, cyber operations communities, Department of State mine abatement initiatives, and the international humanitarian demining community.

Dave is a veteran who served as an active-duty Army infantry officer for more than 20 years. He led soldiers in light and airborne infantry units. While on active duty, his nominative assignments included serving as an Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy, as a strategic planner for the Commander, U.S. Army Pacific, and as a staff officer on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. Dave retired from active duty as the Chief for Special Technical Operations Programs and Plans in the J-39 on the Joint Staff.
